Gloria Casarez

Gloria Casarez (December 13, 1971 – October 19, 2014) was an American lesbian leader and activist. Casarez was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^[1] In 2008, she was appointed to a public sector position as Director of LGBT Affairs for the City of Philadelphia.^[2]

Casarez died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from cancer, aged 43.
