Grant Hammond
Sir Robert Grant Hammond (14 May 1944 – 31 May 2019) was a New Zealand jurist and law professor. He was born in Te Awamutu. He was a judge of the High Court of New Zealand from 1992 to 2004, and was a justice of the Court of Appeal from 2004 to 2011. He served as president of the New Zealand Law Commission from 2010 to 2016. From 2010 until his death in 2019, Hammond was a judge of the Supreme Court of Samoa.
Hammond died on 31 May 2019, at the age of 75.[1]
