Greenbelt, Maryland
Greenbelt is a city in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States, and a suburb of Washington, D.C. The suburb was created in 1935 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt as an experiment for the New Deal.[1]

The new $32 million USD, 143,277-square-foot, 990-student, LEED certified Greenbelt Middle School, which opened in August 2012. The total project cost $53.6 million USD.
