Guelma
Guelma (Arabic: ڨالمة) is the capital of Guelma Province and Guelma District. It is in northeastern Algeria, about 65 kilometres (40 mi) from the Mediterranean coast.

History
The town of Guelma was created in 1836;[1] and the modern city was established in 1974.[2]
