Hadia Tajik

Hadia Tajik (born 18 July 1983) is a Norwegian[1] lawyer, journalist and politician. She was a minister in the cabinet of Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre as Minister of Labour, Social Inclusion and Intergration (2021-2023).

She is a member of the Labour Party. She was Minister of Culture from 2012 to 2013. She was 29 years of age at the time and became the youngest minister to serve in the Norwegian government.[2]

She is the first Muslim member of government. Tajik has been a Member of the Norwegian Parliament since 2009.[3]
