Hakam Balawi
Hakam Umar As‘ad Balawi (Arabic: حكم بلعاوي; 1938 – November 2020) was a Palestinian politician and writer. He was an Ambassador to Libya and Tunisia from 1973 to 1975 and from 1983 to 1984. He also was the Interior Minister from 2003 to 2005 during the Yasser Arafat cabinet.[1]
Balawi was born in Bal'a, British Mandate of Palestine. He died on 28 November 2020 at the age of 82.[2]
