Hakucho

Hakucho (CORSA-B)

Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 293: attempt to index local 'data_module' (a boolean value). is the name of a Japanese artificial satellite which was put into orbit.

The launch was a project of the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science of the University of Tokyo.

Hakucho was sent into orbit on February 21, 1979. It reentered the atmosphere and melted on April 15, 1985.^[1]

This was Japan's first x-ray astronomy satellite.
