The Hyundai Terracan was a mid-size SUV made by Hyundai from 2001 to 2007. It replaced the Hyundai Galloper.

History and Features

The Hyundai Terracan was previewed by the concept Hyundai Highland.^[1] and was launched in 2001 the SUV had a chassis that was derived from the Mitsubishi Pajero.^[2] the name is derived from Tarascan which was a mesoamerican empire.

it has a 2.4 liter (avaliable in China only) and a 3.5 V6 Gasoline engines and a 2.5 and 2.9 turbo diesel engines with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic transmission it received a minor improvement in 2005.
