Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American journalist and government official. She was the Spokesperson for the United States Department of State from April 24, 2017 until April 3, 2019, appointed by President Donald Trump.[1]

Nauret is a former ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. She also was Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs from March to October 2018.
On November 1, 2018, it was reported that President Trump offered Nauert the position of United States Ambassador to the United Nations to replace the outgoing officeholder, Nikki Haley.[2] On December 7, 2018, President Trump nominated her to replace Haley.[3] She withdrew her nomination on February 16, 2019.[4]
