Herb Douglas
Herbert Paul Douglas Jr. (March 9, 1922 – April 22, 2023) was an American athlete. He competed in long jump. He represented the United States at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London. He won the bronze medal with a jump of 24 feet 9 inches (7.54 m).[1]
Douglas was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He died in Pittsburgh on April 22, 2023, at the age of 101.[2][3]
