Hervé Laborne

Hervé Laborne (born 7 October 1946) is a French electrical engineer and President of university. He was head of the École spéciale de mécanique et électricité from 2003 till 2011.[2]

Graduate from Supélec in 1970, he was teacher and researcher at this grande école for 10 years. In 1986, he moved to the École spéciale de mécanique et électricité as professor.[3]

In 2003, he was named Director General of the University.[4] He retired in 2011, replaced by Roger Ceschi.[5]

He was also coordinator of the disability working group at the Conférence des Grandes Écoles[6][7] from 2007 to 2011.[8]
