History

Hikaya, whose name means "story" in Arabic ("حكاية"), started his musical journey as a self-taught guitarist and composer at the age of 16.[2] Over time, he learned other instruments, singing, and music production.[3][4]

Early years

In 2022, Hikaya released his debut album "Wonders" on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon. This album includes pop and rock music with neoclassical elements, polyphonic melodies, and a touch of symphonic metal.[5][6][7]

Hikaya's second album, "Miracles," was released on November 4, 2023. This album continues the themes from "Wonders" and includes new hits and tunes.[8][9]

In addition to his original music, Hikaya released a Japanese cover album "マリスミゼル" (MALICE MIZER) on December 24, 2022, to celebrate the band's 30th anniversary. The covers were fully produced and arranged by Hikaya.[10][11]

Musical style

As an artist, Hikaya has been praised for his high tenor singing style, wide vocal range, and polyphonic compositions. His music blends pop and rock with neoclassical elements, creating a unique sound that has garnered a dedicated following.
