Hofstra University

Hofstra University is a private university in Hempstead, New York. The university has about 12,400 students. It was founded in 1935. The current president of the university is Susan Poser.

Sports

The athletics teams of the university are called the Pride. They have 15 varsity teams and they compete in the Colonial Athletic Association.
