Howard County, Maryland
Howard County is a county in the U.S. state of Maryland. As of the 2020 census, the county's population was 332,317.[1] Its county seat is Ellicott City.[2]

Daucus carota (Queen Anne's Lace) was designated as the official flower of Howard County in 1984.
The American goldfinch is the official county bird of Howard County.
