J.J. Redick
Jonathan Clay "J.J." Redick (born June 24, 1984 in Cookeville, Tennessee)[1] is an American basketball coach and former professional player. He is currently the head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association. When he was a basketball player, he played for the Orlando Magic, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Dallas Mavericks. Redick was born in Cookeville, Tenneesee. He studied and played college basketball for four years at Duke University.
On July 10, 2013, the Clippers picked up Redick in a sign-and-trade, three-team deal which also involved the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns.[2] Redick was reported to have signed a four-year, $27 million contract.[3]
