J. William Middendorf

John William Middendorf II (September 22, 1924 – October 24, 2025) was an American politician. He served as the United States Secretary of the Navy under the Gerald Ford administration. He was a member of the Republican Party. Middendorf was a member of the board of directors of the International Republican Institute.[1]

Middendorf died at a hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts on October 24, 2025, at the age of 101.[2]
