James Barber (biochemist)
James Barber (16 July 1940 – 5 January 2019) was a British biochemist. He was a senior research investigator and professor of biochemistry at Imperial College London, Visiting Professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin and Visiting Canon Professor to Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.
In 1995, Barber became a member of the Australian Academy of Science. In 2005, he won the ENI Award. Barber became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in 2003.
Barber died on 5 January 2020 at the age of 79.[1]
