Jimi Hendrix Experience
The Jimi Hendrix Experience was an American-English rock band that formed in London, England, in 1966. The band was made up of singer, songwriter, and guitarist Jimi Hendrix, drummer Mitch Mitchell, and bassist Noel Redding.
They were highly influential in popularizing hard and psychedelic rock. All of the band's albums, Are You Experienced (1967), Axis: Bold as Love (1967), and Electric Ladyland (1968), were featured in the top 100 of Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
