Joe Pittman
Joseph Wayne Pittman (January 1, 1953 – June 13, 2014), nicknamed "Shoe" or "Shoes", was an American baseball player. He was a backup infielder and outfielder. Pittman played in Major League Baseball for the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants in between the seasons of 1981 and 1984.

Pittman was born in Houston, Texas. He was African American.
Pittman died after collapsing at a construction job on June 12, 2014, in Freeport, Texas. He was 61 years old.[1]
