John Ehle
John Marsden Ehle, Jr. (December 13, 1925 – March 24, 2018) was an American novelist and screenwriter. He was known best for his fiction set in the Appalachian Mountains of the American South. He wrote the screenplay of The Journey of August King, a movie that is based on his book. He was known for his book The Winter People (1982) and Last One Home (1984).
