John T. Noonan Jr.
John Thomas Noonan Jr. (October 24, 1926 – April 17, 2017) was an American circuit judge. He served as a Circuit Judge on the United States Circuit Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from December 17, 1985 through December 27, 1996.[1]
Noonan Jr. was born in Boston, Massachusetts.[2] He studied at Harvard University, at St John's College, Cambridge and at The Catholic University of America. From 1967 until his death in 2017, Noonan Jr. was married to Mary Lee Bennett. They had three children.
Noonan Jr. died on April 17, 2017 in Berkeley, California, aged 90.
