John Vorster
Balthazar Johannes Vorster was a South African politician of Dutch descent. He served as the Prime Minister of South Africa and later State President of South Africa after the assassination of the previous Prime Minister, Hendrik Verwoerd. He is commonly known as John Vorster.

Vorster believed in apartheid.[1] He was part of a group who sentenced Nelson Mandela to life imprisonment and he refused to grant South West Africa (now Namibia) independence.
