Julianna Margulies (born June 8, 1966) is an Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning actress. She has received more Screen Actors Guild Awards than any other actress or actor. She played Carol in the long-running series ER and Alicia in the CBS legal drama The Good Wife. She also performed in sitcoms and theatrical movies. She was raised in New York.
