Karditsa
Karditsa is a city in the center of Greece, in the Thessaly district. It is built on Thessaly Plain, the second largest plain in Greece. Because of this, Karditsa is an agricultural city. It is near the city of Trikala.
Western Karditsa is in the Agrafa mountain range (which is a part of the larger Pindus Mountains).
There were 35,971 people living in Karditsa during the 2001 census.
