Kathleen Hicks

Kathleen Holland Hicks[1] (born September 25, 1970)[2] is an American government official. She was the United States deputy secretary of defense from 2021 to 2025 during the Joe Biden administration.[1][3][4] Hicks is the first Senate-confirmed woman in this role.
