Kaul

Kaul (also spelled Koul; Kashmiri: कौल (Devanagari)code: ks is deprecated ) is the caste used by most of the Kashmiri Pandits in India. They are Brahmins who come from Kashmir. After the exodus of 1991, a significant number of Kashmiri Pandits forcefully left their houses while remaining still live in their homes, mostly in the city of Srinagar.
