Kings Island is a 364-acre (147 ha) amusement park located 24 miles (39 km) northeast of Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio, United States. The park is owned and operated by the Cedar Fair company. It operates from April to December. The park features 48 rides total and has 14 roller coasters, including Banshee, The Bat, Mystic Timbers, Diamondback, Orion, Snoopy Soap Box Racers, and other attractions. The park opened to the public on April 29, 1972. Great Wolf Lodge nearby, is next to the amusement park.
