Klagenfurt am Wörthersee[1] (German: [ˌklaːɡn̩fʊʁt ʔam ˈvœʁtɐzeː] (
listen); Southern Austro-Bavarian: Klognfuat; Slovene: [Celovec] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)),[2] usually known as just Klagenfurt (English: /ˈklɑːɡənfʊərt/ KLAH-gən-foort) is a city in Austria. It is the capital of Carinthia. It is also a district of Carinthia. About 99,000 people lived there in 2016.
