Christina Ann "Kristy" McNichol (born September 11 1962) is an American TV and movie actress. She played Letitia "Buddy" Lawrence in the television program Family. She played Barbara Weston in the sitcom Empty Nest. She also acted with Cynthia Nixon in the 1980 movie Little Darlings and as the main character in the 1981 movie White Dog. She was born in Los Angeles.
