Kuldip Nayar

Kuldip Nayar (14 August 1923 – 23 August 2018) was an Indian journalist, human right activist, author and politician. Nayar was born in Sialkot, Punjab, British India.

He was the High commissioner of India to United Kingdom in the 1990s. He was known for his long career as a left-wing political commentator. He was also a Member of the Upper House of the Indian Parliament in 1997 through 2003.

Nayar died on 23 August 2018 in New Delhi, aged 95.[1]
