Lapidary
Lapidary is the art of cutting, shaping, polishing, and engraving stones, minerals, and gemstones. It encompasses a range of techniques and skills used to transform rough stones into finely crafted pieces for jewelry, decorative items, and other artistic creations. Somebody who does lapidary is called a lapidarist.
