Lepisosteus
Lepisosteus is a genus of gars in the family Lepisosteidae only known across North America.

- Lepisosteus osseus Linnaeus, 1758 (Longnose gar)
- Lepisosteus platysomus Rafinesque, 1820 (Shortnose gar)
- Lepisosteus platyrhincus DeKay, 1842 (Florida gar)
