Lewis County, New York

Lewis County is a county located in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2020 census, the population was 26,582,[1] making it the fourth-least populous county in New York. Its county seat is Lowville.[2] The county is named after Morgan Lewis, the Governor of New York.[3] This county is part of New York's 21st congressional district.

Lewis County was founded in 1805.
