Los Angeles City Hall

Los Angeles City Hall is the main government building in Los Angeles, California, United States. The office of the Mayor of Los Angeles is in there as well as Los Angeles City Council. The Los Angeles Public Library is also next to the site.[5] The building is located in the Civic Center district of Downtown Los Angeles. The building was completed in 1928 and is about 454 feet (138 m) tall. It is known for hosting major events in the city including Gloria Molina Grand Park’s New Year Eve celebration. The building is occupied by two metro subway stations.[6]
