Lucius Shepard

Lucius Shepard (August 21, 1943 – March 18, 2014) was an American writer. He mostly worked as a science fiction and fantasy writer. His best known book works were The Jaguar Hunter (1987), Life During Wartime (1990), and The Ends of the Earth (1991). He also wrote the comic book series Vermillion (1996–97) for Helix of DC Comics. He was born in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Shepard died on March 18, 2014 in Portland, Oregon. He was 70 years old.[1][2]
