Malcolm Simmons

Malcolm "Simmo" Simmons (20 March 1946 – 25 May 2014) was an English speedway rider. He was a member of the Poole Pirates, based in Poole. He won the Speedway World Team Cup three times (1974, 1975, 1977) and the Speedway World Pairs Championship also three times (1976, 1977, 1978).

Simmons was born in Tonbridge, Kent. He was married to June.

Simmons died from emphysema on 25 May 2014 in Kent, aged 68.[1]
