Mannan Hira
Mannan Hira (1956 – 23 December 2020) was a Bangladeshi dramatist and filmmaker. He was the recipient of 2006 Bangla Academy Literary Award in the drama category.[3][4]

Biography
Hira was born on 1956 in Sirajganj, East Pakistan. He completed his higher secondary education from Rajshahi College.Then he graduated from University of Dhaka.[5]
He was the president of Bangladesh Path Natok Parishad and a member of Aranyak Natyadal. He had written around 15 theater plays.[6] In 2014, Hira debuted as a filmmaker through Ekatturer Khudiram.[7]
Hira died on December 23, 2020 in Dhaka of a heart attack.[8]
