Maria Helena Vieira da Silva
Maria Helena Vieira da Silva (13 June 1908 – 6 March 1992) was a Portuguese painter. She later became a French citizen. She was a leading name in the Art Informel, an European abstract expressionist movement. Her works often show complex interiors and city views. Her lines explore both space and perspective. She also has works in tapestry and stained glass. She is represented in some of the most important art museums in the world.
