Martin Amerhauser
Martin Amerhauser (born 23 July 1974) is an Austrian former professional footballer. He played as a midfielder for SV Austria Salzburg and Grazer AK in the Austrian Bundesliga. He also played for the Austrian national football team.

Club career
Amerhauser began his career at Austria Salzburg. His name is linked to Salzburg's memorable European Cup performance in the 1993/94 season. He scored the goal for promotion against Sporting Lisbon in December 1993. Only 19 years of age, he went on to play in both legs of the UEFA Cup 1993-94 which they lost to Inter Milan. In the spring season of 1995 he went on loan to GAK in the 2nd division and immediately became champion and promoted to the Bundesliga. In the summer of 1996 he returned to Austria and won the championship again with his home club. From the 1999/2000 season until the summer of 2009 Amerhauser played again for GAK and was part of the most successful GAK era. They could celebrate a championship title, three cup wins and two Supercup wins. From the 2007/08 season , after the forced relegation of the GAK , he played in the Regionalliga . From the summer of 2009 he worked as an assistant coach until the end of the year. From 2010 to 2011 he played for FC Lankowitz.
International career
Amerhauser made his debut for Austria in a March 1998 friendly match against Hungary in which he immediately scored his first international goal. He then was a participant at the 1998 FIFA World Cup but did not play. His last international was a September 2005 World Cup qualifying match against Azerbaijan.
Manager
During the winter break 2011 he became head coach at the regional league club SC Weiz. From 2012 to 2014 he looked after ASK Voitsberg in the Styrian Landesliga.
