Martin Cooper
Martin "Marty" Cooper (December 26, 1928 - ) is an American engineer. He was born in Chicago. Cooper is a pioneer in the wireless communications industry. He is known for creating the first mobile phone.[1][2] Martin Cooper was known for making the first handheld phone. Martin Cooper made the first public call in Manhattan. [1]
