Masahide Ōta

Ōta on February 17, 1997

Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 293: attempt to index local 'data_module' (a boolean value). was a Japanese academic and politician. He was governor of Okinawa Prefecture from 1990 until 1998.^[1] He was born in Kumejima, Okinawa.

Ōta died in Naha, Okinawa on 12 June 2017, his 92nd birthday, from respiratory failure caused by pneumonia.^[2]^[3]
