Merab Chigoev
Merab Ilyich Chigoev (Russian: Мераб Ильич Чигоев; 15 February 1950 – 9 January 2016[1]) was a South Ossetian politician. He was the former Prime Minister serving from August 1998 until June 2001.[1][2] He was also Minister of Justice in Yury Morozov's cabinet.[3] He was born in Leningor district, South Ossetian Autonomous Oblast, Georgian SSR, Soviet Union.
