Michael Nyqvist
Rolf Åke Mikael Nyqvist (8 November 1960 – 27 June 2017) was a Swedish actor.[1] Born in Stockholm, he studied drama in Malmö. He started acting as Officer Banck in the series one of the Swedish movies about Martin Beck in 1997.
Nyqvist became known internationally as the main character Mikael Blomkvist in the Millenium miniseries opposite Noomi Rapace. He also had a role in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and John Wick.[2]
Nyqvist died on 27 June 2017 in Stockholm from lung cancer at the age of 56.[3]
