Michael S. Regan
Michael Stanley Regan[2] (born August 6, 1976) is an American environmentalist and politician. Regan is the 16th Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency since 2021. He was the secretary of North Carolina's Department of Environmental Quality from 2017 until 2021.

He was an air quality specialist in the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
On December 17, 2020, it was reported that then President-elect Joe Biden nominated Regan to serve as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.[3] He was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 11, 2021.[4]
