Milan Asadurov
Milan Asadurov (Bulgarian: Милан Асадуров; 29 December 1949 – 7 June 2019) was a Bulgarian author, publisher and translator. He wrote short stories and scripts for television and radio, starting in 1968. He founded the popular science fiction publishers' series Galaxy in 1978, which published more than 100 books. Galaxy published notable authors including Isaac Asimov, Raymond Chandler, Ray Bradbury, the Strugatsky brothers, Ursula K. Le Guin, Yordan Radichkov, William Faulkner and H. G. Wells. Some of the books published by Galaxy were the first translations in Bulgarian. He also wrote on the history of lighthouses on Bulgaria's Black Sea shoreline. He served as editor-in-chief of Maritime magazine.
Asadurov was born in Varna. He died on 7 June 2019, at the age of 69.[1]
