Mina Salman

Mina Salman is a seaport in Manama, Bahrain. Mina Salman was a natural harbour before the establishment in 1962. It covers 80 hectares.[1] It is the primary cargo port and customs point of Bahrain.[2] The port has 15 container berths. This lets it handle 2.5 million tonnes a year.[3]

The port is named after Salman ibn Isa al-Khalifa, the grandfather of the current King.[4]
