NHS Wales
NHS Wales is of the four systems that make up the National Health Service in the United Kingdom. It has been separate since 1999. It is the responsibility of the Welsh Minister for Health and Social Services. [1]
It has seven health boards and three NHS trusts.
It employs 81,044 staff, making it Wales's biggest employer.[2] In April 2018 there were also 1,926 general practitioners working in Wales.[3]
