NXT North American Championship

The NXT North American Championship is a wrestling title owned by WWE and competed for by the men of NXT. It was created as NXT's second-most-important men's championship on March 7, 2018, on an episode of NXT. On that episode, NXT commissioner, William Regal said that there would be a ladder match between EC3, Killian Dain, Adam Cole, Ricochet, Lars Sullivan, and Velveteen Dream to decide the first champion. The match happened at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans and Adam Cole won it to become the first champion. Right now, the champion is Carmelo Hayes and he beat Cameron Grimes at NXT In Your House on June 4, 2022 to win the title.
