Nabab Alom (Bengali: নবাব আলম) a very popular drama written and directed by journalist Shamim Hossen. The main characters in it the most talked about model and actor of Bangladesh on social media Hero Alom, Nusrat Jahan Jimu, Anayet Rajib, Shimul Khan, China Alam (Faruk). The new installment of the Nabab Alom drama is Dalal Alom.[1][2]

History
Nabab Alom Written and directed by journalist Shamim Hossen, was released on 27 May 2021 on the Media Bhuban Entertainment YouTube channel. The drama was produced and edited by Milon Khan. Sogir Khan was the cinematographer. Hero Alam played the role of the king in the play Nabab Alom. Hero Alom's ex-wife Nusrat Jahan Jimu played the role of the queen. Anayet Rajib will be seen as the minister and Shimul will be seen as the commander. Shamim, Farukh, Jannat and many others have also acted. The drama gained immense popularity at that time. In view of the demand of the audience, the director was forced to make several sequels. Media personalities praised the producer Shamim Hossen. This is one of the most notable plays in Hero Alom's career.
In an interview given to the media, Hero Alom said, ‘I want to move forward by ignoring the criticism. It is good to be able to give new work to the fans. This time I have appeared in a completely different form. I hope everyone will like the play Nabab Alom. I have acted in two other plays by Shamim Bhai. I hope everyone will like the two plays of completely different styles.’[3]
Plot
Nabab Alom is a play based on a historical story. The play highlights the history of how the Indian subcontinent was governed during the era of kings and emperors.[4]
Story Summary
There was a righteous king in a country. He loved his people very much. He wanted all the people of his kingdom to have equal rights. He vowed that he would not have children before making the environment of his kingdom beautiful and livable. But his minister betrayed the king. In the absence of the king, the minister oppressed the people. At one point, the king realized this and killed the minister and his associates and liberated the kingdom.[5]
