Nanaimo is located on Vancouver Island and is the second largest city on Vancouver Island.[2]
Nanaimo is ranked 57th overall in the 100 largest municipalities in Canada and is nicknamed the "Bathtub Racing Capital of the World" and the "Harbour City".
